Tournament featuring fast-paced matches\, a double elimination bracket\, and prizes for the top players. \nPlayers will compete in best-of-3 matches with 3 stocks and a 6-minute timer. The tournament is capped at 16 players\, so advance registration is recommended. \nBefore the tournament begins\, each player will register up to three characters they may use throughout the event. Once the tournament starts\, your character list is locked in\, so choose wisely. \nEvent Details\nMaximum Capacity: 16 players\nAge Limit: 14+\nEntry Fee: $30\nFormat: Double Elimination\nMatch Length: Best of 3\nStocks: 3\nTimer: 6 minutes \nPrizes\nPrizes will be awarded to the top players: \n1st Place: Half of total entry-fee earnings\n2nd Place: Free Game Block and Two Drink Tokens\n3rd Place: Two Free Drink Tokens \nTournament Format\nThe tournament will use a double elimination bracket\, meaning players must lose twice before being eliminated from the tournament. \nEach match will be played as a best-of-3 set. Players may only use characters from their registered list. \nBefore each round begins\, players will be able to see their opponent’s registered characters. \nMii Fighter Rules\nMii Fighters are allowed. \nMii Fighter movesets must be listed in the character name using numbers that correspond to the in-game move options. \nCharacter-Specific Rules\nSteve Restrictions\nSteve players may not build or mine underneath the stage for the purpose of stalling or avoiding combat. \nRepeated abuse of this rule may result in penalties at the discretion of the tournament organizer. \nControllers\nControllers will be provided by the tournament organizers. \nPlayers may also bring their own controller\, including wired or wireless controllers. Any modified controller must be inspected and approved by a tournament organizer before use. \nPlayers are responsible for any damage caused to provided controllers through misuse\, negligence\, or intentional action. This may include repair costs\, replacement fees\, or disqualification at the discretion of the tournament organizer. \nPlayer Conduct\nAll players are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner throughout the tournament. \nAggressive\, destructive\, disruptive behavior\, harassment\, or intentional distraction of an opponent may result in penalties. Severe offenses may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event. \nPenalties\nRule violations may result in verbal warnings or penalties depending on the severity of the issue. \nPlayers may receive up to three verbal warnings. After three warnings\, or in the case of a more serious offense\, tournament organizers may issue one of the following penalties: \n\nStock Loss\nGame Loss\nDisqualification\n\nTournament organizers have final discretion on all penalty decisions. \nCheck-In & Forfeit Policy\nPlayers must check in at least 5 minutes before the tournament begins and pay the full $30 entry fee to be officially registered. \nFailure to check in on time may result in automatic disqualification. \nStalling Rule\nPlayers may not intentionally stall the game to gain an unfair advantage or delay a match. \nAfter losing a stock\, players must make a reasonable attempt to re-engage in combat. Intentional avoidance\, excessive camping\, or repeated delay tactics may result in penalties at the discretion of the tournament organizer.
