A: We’re Pdk NINE — a board game lounge that specializes in curating a fun, cozy place for game lovers of all ages to relax and play — think Williams Sonoma meets an Irish Pub in the Shire. A carefully crafted, thoughtfully organized display of games, collectibles, and art. We celebrate local artists and hand-made trinkets of the nerdy persuasion. Our passion is adventure. A: We’re a board game lounge with lattes.
Q: How does pricing work?
A: Game blocks, parties, membership, and a $5 drop-in if you bring your own game or D&D group. Most first visits are a game block.
Q: What’s a game block?
A: Your pass to the library. Monday–Thursday it’s $10 a person for all-day play. Friday–Sunday it’s $10 a person for three hours. Not bad, eh?
Q: What happens when the weekend 3 hours is up?
A: We don’t really enforce it unless the store needs the room — trivia, Bingo, a store-wide thing. If the calendar is quiet, keep playing. Sunday still closes at 6 sharp. Last seating is still 8 the other days.
Q: What’s a game library?
A: Jeeeeeezzus, how many questions do you have? Just kidding! (We’re so happy you’re here.) It’s 800+ games, from family night to “we will still be here at close.” Browse them at games.pdknine.com.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Walk-ins welcome for game blocks. Call 856-206-9615 ahead for D&D, busy nights, large groups, or parties.
Q: Can I come by myself?
A: Yes, and people do it every day. Grab a coffee and a seat, pick a game that plays well solo, or come on a Tuesday Looking for Group night and sit down with other people who walked in the same way you did. The full walk-through is on Looking for Group.
Q: Can I bring my own game? What about my D&D group?
A: Yes. $5 drop-in per person for the table. You bring the box or the campaign; we bring the chairs. Call 856-206-9615 if it’s a crew so we can park you somewhere that isn’t the walk-in crush.
Q: When are you open?
A: Open daily 12–8, Sunday 12–6. Last game seating at 8 PM; we ask that no new games are started after 8 PM. The store closes promptly at 6 PM on Sundays. Yes, that includes Tuesday. Joe still has to walk his dog.
Q: Do you have food?
A: Snacks, drinks, popcorn. Plaza food and BYO coolers are welcome. Cafe specials live on the calendar.
Q: Does that include special events?
A: Trivia, Bingo, Blood on the Clocktower, and other hosted nights are usually extra. The event fee generally gets you the library after, and up to an hour before. Want the library earlier? That’s a full game block plus the event.
Q: I don’t know what to play.
A: Free concierge for paid players. We suggest, we teach, we will not be rude about knowing the rules. Or skip the small talk: set your filters and roll a random game from the library.

A: Discount days show up on the monthly calendar. Birthday club in the store: game free during your birth month. Mailing list: 10% off your next store purchase. Lots of ways to game on a budget.
