Want people to play with and you don’t already have a group? This page is for you. Coming alone is normal here. Staff will not make it weird. Regulars do this too.
We’re a board game lounge with lattes. 800+ games on the wall, a café if you just want a seat, and nights built for walking in alone and making new friends. Open daily 12–8, Sunday 12–6.
Here’s how the room works when you show up on your own.
Sit with a coffee and a book. You don’t need a game block just to hang with a drink. Read. Work. People-watch. You never know who’s looking for one more player.
Walk in and play. Walk-ins are welcome for game blocks. Pick something off the wall, roll a random game, or ask us to teach you. Want a table with other people? Say so at the counter. We’ll point you at an open seat if we know of any groups that are looking.
Come on a Looking for Group night. Weekly. No registration. We set the tables aside and dedicated time on the calendar. You sit down with other people who walked in the same way you did. Themes change — New in Town, Over 30 & Nerdy, and whatever else is up. Head over to our calendar to see what’s happening this month.
Join a night that’s already a room full of strangers. Blood on the Clocktower is social deduction and a great game for beginners. Bingo is the same energy. Even trivia — don’t wait for a full team, come on in. There are often singles who are looking for others to join forces with.
Sit at a house D&D table. One night, one table, people you haven’t met yet. Call 856-206-9615 ahead — seats are limited. Beginners are always welcome and no experience is necessary for our regular events. More on Table Top.
Craft with other people. Slay & Play is casual crafting, second Saturday of the month, 1–4 PM. No art degree. Whatever we’re making that month is on the calendar.
What it costs, in short. A drink is just a drink. Playing the library — or joining someone else’s table — is a game block: $10 all day Monday–Thursday, $10 for three hours Friday–Sunday. Hosted nights are on the calendar. The listing has the ticket. Those tickets generally get you the library around the event.
